Use the Rhythmverse File Manager to upload, edit, and delete content: https://rhythmverse.co/console/filemanager
To upload content click the Add New Content button:
The Content Type window will open:
If your song has more than one author click the Select if this file has more creators than just you toggle:
Select the game that you want to add content to and then click the Data Extraction button. The Data Extraction window will open:
Select the song that you want to upload using one of the following methods:
- Click the Drop file here area, a file browser window will open. Select your song file and then click the Submit button.
- Drag and drop your custom song file from Windows Explorer (or similar applications) into the drop file here area. Click the Submit button.
File Manager will process your custom song file.
The Edit Content window will open. There are five tabs to this window:
- Song Metadata
- Difficulties
- File Data
- Authors *
- Release
* The Authors option is only available if you specify that your song has more than one author:
In this example we upload a song for the Rock Band 3 platform.
The Song Metadata section will be populated with the metadata from your custom song. The following fields are required:
- Song Title
- Artist
- Release Year
- Genre
- Song Length
Make sure that these fields are complete.
There are four options for the song Rating:
- Unrated
- Family Friendly
- Supervision Recommended
- Mature

There are three options for Vocal Parts:
- 1 part
- 2 parts
- 3 parts
The number of parts should reflect the number of vocal parts in the song.
Click the Set Difficulties button to continue to the Difficulties tab.
The Difficulties tab displays the authored difficulties for each instrument. You should not need to change the metadata in this tab.
Click the Set File Data button to continue to the File Data tab.
The song Audio Type is pulled from your custom song metadata. The options are:
- Single Track
- Multitrack
- Karaoke
- Partial Tracks
The Game Source field is optional. Use it if your song is a conversion from another game. Note: This field is also used to record official database entries for paid-for content:

If your song has a video preview, paste the URL in the Gameplay Preview field.
If your song is an alternate version select it using the Alternate Version drop-down menu:
- 2x Bass Pedal
- Karaoke
- Other
- Rhythm Guitar on Bass
- Rhythm Guitar on Keys
If pitched vocals are authored as unpitched check the Pitched vocals are unpitched checkbox:
In the Vocal Parts Authored drop down menu select the number of vocal parts that you have authored:
- 1 part
- 2 parts
- 3 parts
If your drum chart does not have markers for Pro drums click the Drums are missing Pro markers toggle:
Click the Set Release button to continue.
If your song has more than one author you can specify authors and contributors in the Authors tab:
- Main authors - significant role
- Contributors - minor role
The Authors tab has two sub-tabs:
- Instruments
- Game Dynamics
Specify authors and contributors for bass, drums, guitar, keys, pro bass, pro guitar, pro keys, and vocals in the Instruments sub-tab:
Type part of the author or contributor name and select them from a filtered list of authors.
Specify authors and contributors for audio production, tempo mapping, testing, and venue in the Game Dynamics sub-tab:
Type part of the author or contributor name and select them from a filtered list of authors.
Click to the Set Release button to continue to the Release tab.
Hosting custom songs through Rhythmverse is free. If for some reason you do not want Rhythmverse to host your custom song use the External URL field instead.
Set the Release Time for your song. This can be set for a future date and time if needed.
Click the Hide content for now button to hide future releases.
To complete your upload click the Publish button.
